Beverage Garden
The Bob Pace Band is a local favorite and sure to please the entire crowd in the beverage garden when they play Friday, June 13 from 9 pm – 1 am. The band is made up of members Bob Pace, Nick Pace, and Dale Rupp. The Push is the Bob Pace Band featuring vocalist Barb Miller. The Push will perform in the beverage garden Saturday, June 14 from 9 pm – 1 am.
The band is led by guitarist Bob Pace, who has been entertaining audiences in Des Moines and Iowa for more than thirty years. He has had the opportunity to play with and open shows for nationally known performers such as John Mayall, Junior Wells, Delbert McClinton, the Tower of Power, & the great Johnny Winter. Bob was featured in the July 2005 edition of Blues Revue magazine, and currently performs Tuesday nights at Blues on Grand. A talented songwriter, Bob has penned countless original tunes. He has recently released an original Blues recording entitled “Six String Soul.”
Drummer Dale Rupp has been performing with Bob Pace for more than ten years, which makes them very musically “in synch.” He’s a steady player & keeps a rock solid beat, in addition to pounding out unbelievable solos.
