The annual Greene County Spelling Bee will be held Saturday, June 14 at 3 p.m. at the Greene County Community Center. Sponsored by the Greene County Historical Society, the competition has five age categories that will be awarded with trophies: first and second grade, third and fourth grade, fifth through eighth grade, ninth through twelfth grade and college age to adult. All participants will receive badges for sharing their knowledge. Participants may pre-register at the Greene County Community Center up until the time of the contest. There is no cost for this event.
