The Kid’s Fishing Derby, sponsored by the Greene County Conservation Board, will be held at Spring Lake on Sunday, June 15 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Kids 4 - 16 years old are invited to bring their fishing gear and lawn chair to the north side of the skating rink for this free event. The afternoon will begin with a fishing education presentation followed by the fishing derby. If you do not have a fishing pole, you can check one out through the Greene Co. Conservation when you arrive at no charge. Prizes will be awarded for ‘Biggest Fish’ within three ages divisions. Free pop and night crawlers will be provided for the contestants.
